Happy 4th Birthday LynnBella Barbie

Screaming, shouting, crying, laughing, Happy Birthday to my amazing daughter LynnBella! Took her a while to decide on what birthday theme she wanted but finally we settled on Barbie! I love this because Barbie slogan is "We can do anything!" Just like Barbie, I wanted my daughter to be reminded she can be whatever she wants to be.

We are still practicing quarantine and social distancing so with everything being closed, we decided to do a small quarantine style celebration in our apartment. Ironically the same day was her Bumblebee Pre K 3 graduation Zoom ceremony.

So I said I wasn't going to cry but looking at my daughter remembering how scary it was when they said she wasn't growing and I would need to deliver her early made me realize how amazing life is. My daughter was born 4.3lbs and stayed in the NICU for 11 days. I didn't get to hold her until 12 hours after she was delivered. Now I get to hold her a lifetime.

I wanted to share with you how we enjoyed a fun Barbie Quarantine birthday party on a dollar tree budget.

85% of her party literally came from the dollar tree and this is not a sponsored post. Starting with my DIY life size Barbie box. I wanted the box to be large enough for adults to get in and several children so I made the box 6ft in height and 2 ft wide.

I used white foam boards from the dollar tree and wrapped them in hot pink wrapping paper also from the dollar tree.  Pretty much everything mentioned will be from the dollar tree otherwise noted. The back panel I used 5 foam boards, side panels I used 2.5 foam boards and front I used 3 foam boards. Total wrapping paper I used was 4 rolls but I suggest getting 6 just in case.

Party favors! What is a party without making sure your guest enjoy? We wanted the girls to be pampered so we decided to do a pampering gift bag which included bath bombs, shower caps, nails, barbie toys, Jo Jo tissue, candy, socks, and other goodies pictured.

Some of these items came multiple in the pack which cut down on individual costs of these items.

I changed my bar cart around for her party which included her gift bags, bubbles, and candy! Used her balloons as decorations.

I ordered these 2 decorations from Walmart and Oriental Trading but they were both under $5! What is a party with a piñata and candy? Her dad got her a Jo Jo Siwa piñata and the kids loved it.

During the party we did a dance off with a kid playlist including Za Za and Lay Lay. We did a paint and sip where all supplies except for paint were also supplied from dollar tree. This is washable paint in the supply section of Walmart for $6 all 10 colors included.

Our final activity was mani and pedis.

My friend Ebony and owner of Creations at Heart designed this amazing Black Barbie cake for us that was sooooooo delicious. Literally no cake was left over. My outfit was from Forever 21 and LynnBella got a custom shirt made from a referral of someone in our area and shorts off Amazon.

To everyone who made her birthday special we appreciate you. Dollar Tree we are so grateful for amazing things in your store to allow our DIY Barbie Quarantine party a success.
